This is a close depiction except I have a splint. About 2 wks ago I "stubbed" my thumb and I did not make a big deal of it. But it had been getting very painful in the last few days. So Tues. afternoon I went to have it checked out. They took the customary x-rays of my thumb and found that it was fractured! Ouch! So I have to wear the splint for at least 2 weeks and I had some projects I needed to complete i.e. our grandbaby's blanket! :0(
